In a response to Barnes & Noble’s Nook recent discounts, Amazon has dropped the price of its Kindle Fire HD 16GB tablet is $ 169 in the U.S., £ 139 in the UK and € 169 in other European countries.
The deal is live across all of Amazon’s sites, although the company’s U.S. website lists the offer as being for a “limited time” only.
Although the ecommerce giant did popup a statement as dry on the news, the move is most likely in response to recent on-goings at Barnes & Noble.
