Kindle Fire ‘old’ generation

According to information obtained by BGR, 7-inch, cheapest version of the Kindle Fire will get a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (the current model runs at a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels). Seven-inch Kindle Fire HD will have a display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (currently 1280 x 800 pixels), and the most expensive, 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD will be able to boast a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels (currently 1920 x 1200 pixels).

Tablets are to have a changed appearance and have less curves than current models. Devices can be much lighter than the current generation of Kindle Fire. Devices are to be presented in September and are expected to cost the same as the current generation of tablets.
