The Met Office weather app has now been made available for the Kindle Tablet devices, in addition to the existing mobile apps available on iPhone, Android and Windows Phone 8
More than 6.5 million people have downloaded the app on other devices to quickly get weather information.
People are able to access a five day weather overview, three hourly location forecasts and weather warnings up to five days ahead.
There is also the option of a 30-day written forecasts. Terry Makewell, the Met Office’s head of digital and global media, said: “I am very excited That from today in the are able to reach our customers on the Amazon Kindle Tablet platforms.“We have been working closely with Amazon over the last few months to ensure code That Obtaining Kindle users are up-to-date weather alerts and forecast information in a manner Which is suitable to them.
“This is just one more way in Which We are continuing to make our trusted content available to millions of users across a multitude of digital platforms.”
