The stores are already InkBOOK Obsidian – Polish competitor to the Kindle Voyage – dobreprogramy

After a practical model inkBOOK Onyx and affordable inkBOOK Classic was time for ‘higher’ shelf. Wroclaw Arta Tech introduced on the market today, 6-inch reader inkBOOK Obsidian, the elegant design, with a screen covered with a sheet of glass.

inkBOOK Obsidian is in many ways similar to our recently tested the model inkBOOK Onyx, but from the outside it looks a lot better. We find here a 6-inch E Ink Carta, made with a Flat Glass Solution (just like the Amazon Kindle Voyage). As a result, the reader does not have a thick frame around the screen, and its front cover the flat pane of frosted glass. Reading so designed reader is still a little nicer. The screen reader is of course a touch and backlit. Its resolution is the standard of 1024 × 758 pixels.

InkBOOK model Obsidian find Android 4.2.2, the same as he got inkBOOK Onyx. Thanks to this reader, you can install your favorite apps, including of course the bookstore Legimi client with the ability to “borrow” books in subscription. From the reader is connected wirelessly to the Internet, you can also gain access to the disk Midiapolis Drive, where you will find a set of free books under free licenses from the project Slow Reading and collections of Polish Internet Library. Like inkBOOK Onyx, the reader can also be used to view RSS feeds configured in the service Midiapolis.

This reader Dimensions 158 × 118 × 8 mm. The device gives the impression of cancer, but is housed in a jacket pocket or a small purse, and most importantly, comfortable on it reads. On the sides of the screen includes two buttons with which you can conveniently switch between pages. inkBOOK Obsidian will give you nearly 6 GB of free space on the books, but if it will still be too little, you can also consult the microSD card. The battery lasts for 8,000 page changes, if read without the backlight.

E-book readers inkBOOK Obsidian is already available in Poland, priced at 599 dollars. You can find it on the shelves of major electronics stores, as Agito, Komputronik, Media Expert, RTV Euro AGD or X-COM. In the near future inkBOOK Obsidian will also appear in the online bookstore Legimi, where as inkBOOK Onyx will be available in the offer subscription with unlimited access to an extensive library of e-books.
