First, set up Skype on your Kindle
- The Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HDX, and the Fire HD tablet come with preinstalled Skype. You must have at least a Kindle Fire HD. This access it click on “apps” on the home screen
- Tap “cloud” and then find Skype and click on it. This will download the application onto your Kindle
- Click back to the home screen. Once the download is complete, the Skype icon will have a green check mark next to it. Click the icon.
- Sign in using either a Skype, Microsoft, or Facebook account if you have one or click “create account” at the bottom of the screen
- If making a new account, enter all required information, Including creating a “skype name.” This will be the name other users will search for to find you.
- Verify your account with the link sent to your e-mail address
Then, add 9NEWS to your contacts list
- Click the “contact” icon in the menu bar – it’s on the top left section of the screen. Click to add a contact.
- Type “Call9news” in the search bar and hit the enter
- Click on the 9NEWS contact logo That Appears
- Click “Add to contacts “then” send “it 9NEWS add to your list
This call others
- Click on 9NEWS under “contacts” in Skype
- Select the “video call” under the 9NEWS icon to start the call
- Wait for an answer from Drew, Rod, or Mike!
