Rose May and Triston Kindle captured after three-state crime spree – Daily Mail

A teen couple from Ohio who Authorities suspect of a crime spree across three states was apprehended in West Virginia after a police pursuit, Investigators said Saturday.

The sheriff’s office in Wyandot County, Ohio, said the 16-year-old Triston Kindle and a 15-year-old Rose May were in the custody of the West Virginia State Police.

The couple had been dubbed by one police chief as “a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde. ‘

Sheriff Michael Hetzel told WTVG-TV Earlier this week That the two fled Ohio in a stolen pickup truck after allegedly stealing a shotgun shells from a Wal-Mart in Bucyrus, about 20 miles east of Upper Sandusky. They allegedly continued east toward Pennsylvania, stealing one or maybe two more vehicles and Evading law enforcement to possibly hiding out in wooded areas.

‘ETPD has been informed That the two suspects Triston Kindle and Rose May were apprehended in West Virginia this morning.

‘We would like to thank all assisting agencies and the community for Their support.’

WTAE reported the teens were seen in a stolen truck that before Authorities a 12-mile pursuit.

The two crashed a vehicle That had been stolen in Pennsylvania and fled on foot before they were caught, Authorities said.

May and Kimble leapt into the Ohio River, the television station reported. According this WTAE, May had a handgun.
