Kindle Paperwhite receives a small update software - PC World

Last week, Amazon has launched the new model of its flagship Kindle Paperwhite. This does not mean that users of older versions will be ignored. They received a new update for the software.

Amazon regularly updates its readers Kindle software. Owners of first-generation reader Paperwhite received another update numbered 5.3.8. Update introduces three new products that relate to work on the text. This shows that the introduction of the new features of the second version of Kindle Paperwhite have to wait a little longer.

The first of the new features of last year’s Kindle Paperwhite is the ability to simply check the selected word in other than the default dictionary. The second is the possibility to move to an alternative definition in the dictionary is selected if it has more than one of them. The last is to emphasize the earlier search words in the search results or directly to the content of the selected book. Reader when connected to a Wi-Fi network itself will download and install the patch, but it usually takes a bit of time. To expedite the process, download the update file from Amazon and upload it to your device. The next step is to disconnect the device from t he computer, go to the settings menu reader and selecting Update Your Kindle.
