Bristol man orders a Kindle, Receives human tumor Intended for London Hospital … – ABC Online

An Englishman who ordered and new Kindle was shocked when he was delivered and human tumor samples instead.

When James Potten, of Bristol in England’s south-west, received a package from a courier company FedEx, he assumed it was the Kindle he had ordered .

But upon opening the outer packaging, he realized he had actually received a box marked “patient tumor specimen enclosed.”

“When I opened it I had quite a shock.” he told the BBC.

“The tracking code on the item had the same first five and last three numbers as we order, but it was not my Kindle.”

The specimen I was actually the intended for the Royal Free Hospital in London, who confirmed they were aware one of their deliveries had gone to the wrong address.

“We will await answers from the delivery company as is how this mistake was made “The hospital told the BBC.

Mr Potten, who had not opened the box containing the sample, continued this document his experience on Twitter, Informing his follows when the sample had been picked up to be taken is its rightful owner.

He finally received his Kindle and the day after the mix-up.
