 E Ink screens due to their design, changing the displayed image with some delay, and besides, it happens, that will be visible to them “ghosts”, ie remnants of the previous view … but it does not have to be that way. The Kindle Oasis was mounted fastest and finest screen E Ink, which I saw. Refreshing the screen acts quickly, probably twice as fast as in the “average” reader, there are no “ghosts” or imperfections. By the way, let me remind you that the rumors said that Oasis will see the screen type Liquavista, but still Amazon decided to E Ink, the same as the Kindle Voyage.
 

 The screen resolution is 1448 × 1072. With such a pixel size has no chance to be able to be seen reading and experience przebiegania scanned the text are really excellent. What’s more, 10 LEDs illuminate the screen gives a very even illumination and a large scale adjustment. I compared their abilities with their inkBookiem: brightest setting Kindle is much brighter than inkBooka (the pictures on the right), and a minimum illumination Kindle practically not visible. If someone is planning to read in total darkness and not disturb others, it will be the perfect setting, and because the side buttons protrude slightly above the casing, navigation in the book it will not be a problem.

 I have the impression that the lighting is cooler than the Kindle inkBooka. Larger adjustable screen brightness to compensate and make it no matter what the conditions, reading Oasis is a pleasure without side effects.
 

 Well, as long as we have this pleasure? Kindle battery is not large – only 250 mAh (3.7 V), which allows you to use for a week or two, depending on how much to read on it. It is not surprising that small rechargeable battery, when dealing with a housing measuring 3.4 mm thick at its thinnest point. The exact dimensions of Kindle Oasis is 143 × 122 × 3,4-8,5 mm.
 

 With the help comes leather cover with a second battery with a capacity of 1290 mAh. With it, you can use the Kindle for a few weeks (the manufacturer gives 8, but I did not have the reader long enough to be able to confirm this). The cover is adjusted so as not to increase significantly the size of the reader. Closed or open is held together by magnets and its opening will automatically wake up the reader. The only thing you might miss is the ability to bring the reader, which provides cover for the model Voyage.  Price is probably the only thing that can cool the enthusiasm before buying Kindle Oasis. In the German Amazon reader from cover costs 289.99 euros. The version with 3G, which is such, as tested by me, it costs 349.99 euros. That’s a lot, but sometimes it’s worth paying for luxury. I’m sure that the Kindle will find Oasis in Poland buyers who will appreciate it.

Kindle Oasis is a new reader Amazon, which in terms of technical development is only a small Kindle Voyage. When it comes to functionality and capabilities, it is not much of a difference even in comparison to the model Paperwhite. Then where 100 euro price difference between Oasis and Voyage and 170 euro price difference between Osasis and Paperwhite? The answer is simple: Kindle Oasis is not the device that anyone could need. This is the kind of good, which is to kindle the senses and the desire to have.

What can the Kindle Oasis? Well, displays on its 6-inch screen, a book written in the format MOBI, AZW documents in PDF, TXT, and this also HTML, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP after conversion carried out on the account Amazon (as in other readers with the Kindle family, books or documents can be sent to the device strapped to your email address, also directly from the online bookstore, and these appear in the library of the reader). Get built-in memory of 4 GB, without the possibility of extension for a further gigabytes through memory card.

Of course, we have to do e-paper, and more specifically the solution Carta e Ink, whose resolution is 300 ppi. On board there was also a very uniform illumination (10 LEDs vs 6 LED Voyage). Generally, the contrast offered by the screen quality and screen text are exemplary. But it was the same model Voyage, a little worse in the last version of the Paperwhite.

This may uptime? There actually is some progress (at least in the technical specifications, because hard to unequivocally verify the promises of the manufacturer). Osasis has work to eight weeks on a single charge, while the Voyage and the Paperwhite is referred to six. Interestingly resolved was the issue of battery life. In the reader uses a small battery placed in a more tasteful cover which is part of the set. Thus, the cover has two functions: it protects the screen from scratches and keep on charging the main battery.

Finally, thanks to a slightly more “square” proportions (143 mm x 122 mm) we have e-book reader, which no one will confuse with the tablet. We also have an extremely slim casing, which at its thinnest place is a little more than 3 mm thick. For this Oasis used a metal frame and glass to protect the touch screen.

On the right edge you will find mechanical buttons responsible for flipping pages (the default upper responsible for another, lower for the former, but you can change the way they work in settings). But at the bottom on the same side as the buttons provided battery. It is written in the delicate “hump”, which by the way improves grip. Join this much weight in excess of 130 g (without cover) and you will receive a device that can comfortably hold without tiring your hand through the entire trilogy “The Lord of the Rings”.

Kindle Oasis – iPad world readers

I personally use three e-book reader and not very rational, I feel the need to change anything else. Especially when we are talking about Oasis Kindle, which costs nearly 1,300 zł version of Wi-Fi, no can do more than other readers from Amazon logo on the cover and is slightly more advanced than them. And yet, “mole of książkowemu” the Kindle Oasis could have dreamed. It is a device, which is eager not so much mind what the heart. It’s a top e-book readers, the purchase of which will be hard for you to explain, but you certainly will not regret. A good book and Kindle Oasis is a new definition of paradise on Earth.
